Antigua

Over the years we have done a lot of excursions but this one was probably the best.  It was a snorkel and kayak trip with Rum Punch at the end.  It was a pretty far ride to get to the dock at once we were there,  off we went to a beach.  We climbed up this hill and got some pics (see below) and then snorkeled on some shallows.  The water was a bit cold (low 80's) but the colors and fish were beautiful.  Then it was off on a kayak trip for a couple of miles.  It was a lot of fun and we hadn't seen this type of stuff since we were in the Keys.

They didn't have any room at the dock's so they just went ahead and parked the boat in the city.  You should have seen all the quarters they put in the parking meter.   I guess they were from me and my attempt to enrich our household with the slot machines.

This is on top of the hill from the beach.  The beach is on the right and we snorkeled just this side of the small island on the left.

This is the beach that we snorkeled off of.

The tour included a kayak trip through the mangroves

At the end of the tour, there was a race back to the boat.  Kathy and I won it (we bad!!!)

For our prize, we got this certificate and a set of Amnesty Beads for Kathy.  Something about amnesty for doing the laundry when we get home.  Just to let you know, the bird didn't poop on me.

My god, what a great looking couple
