Bathrooms Of Europe

Anyone who knows me knows that I love potty humor as much as the next guy.  So I thought what would be more fitting than to have a section on bathrooms.  One of the main things that I was looking forward to when we came home was to know, before opening the bathroom door, what the toilet would look like, and how to flush the sucker.  Here are a couple of the more memorable examples.

Only in Europe

This was our first bathroom.  This was in the hotel in Madrid.  The kids were asking what the thing on the left was.  I told them it was for brushing their teeth.

This was the toilet in Croatia.  Remember that the cafe was stuck to the side of a cliff.  Yes, this was stuck to cliff, also.

That is part of the wall around the city behind the port-a-potties.  They had a couple of spares in case there was any serious deuce action going on.

Jake went in before me.  He came out and asked me if they were for real.  I think he thought they were kidding that they thought he should go in that hole in the floor.

This was in Venice.  The grooved places on either side of the hole is where you put your feet.  It was a unisex facility.  I can't make this stuff up.

This was in our hotel in Germany.  The most normal of the ones we used.

This was at a McDonald's in Fulda.  Yes, that is a window in the door to the ladies room.  I've wasted some gray matter trying to figure out the purpose of this.  So far, nothing comes to mind.

And in case the ladies want to check out the guys package, yes, the men's room also has one.

This was in Pompeii.  The far corner was the crap hole.  They said you can tell because the wall behind it was knocked out and repair repeatedly.  This was to remove the pooh.  The pedestal in the middle of the back wall was to put the piss pot on.
