T.S. Fay

This one caught me by surprise.  I left the morning the storm turned.  When I left for the airport, the storm was heading towards Tampa.  As I got on the plane, it was turning towards Orlando.  By the time I landed in Dallas, it was aimed at Melbourne.  And by that time, they were already canceling flights.  It was too late for me to get home and I just had to hope for the best.  The water came up very high.  Less that a foot from coming into the house.  That would have sucked but Kathy would have gotten the new Kitchen Cabinets that she's wanted for awhile.  The glass is always half full.

This is outside our front door.  The water had gone down from the high point by the path light at the bottom of the pic.

This is out by the street.  A main concern is that the power tranformer for our house and a couple others are in the bushes to the left of the shot.

It didn't take a very good pic but that is ??? and ??? on a conue in the street.

This is looking out at the lake from our pool.

You can see how high the water is, not just outside the screen but also how the water in the pool is over the coping.

This is where the Aligator would have come from.

Again looking out at the lake.
