Jen's Catholic Confirmation

Jen had her Catholic Confirmation this weekend.  It was a beautiful service and afterward, everyone had some friends over for a little party then it was off to the Japanese Steak House.  The original plan was to have a pool party.  On the Friday before, the temperature was 88.  Of course, a cold front came through the morning of the party and the temp went down to 60.  The water was nice and warm but man, it was cold when you got out.

Anyway, the kids stayed up all night and a good time was had by all.

Jen and Patty when they were first coming into the Church.  We got seats by the back.  I'd like to say by choice but considering we were late, we were lucky to get seats at all.

Jen in the middle of the crowd.  You can tell the evil ones by the glow in their eyes.

This is our Parish Bishop.  His name is something Polish.

The group shot.  The Bishop isn't very impressed with me.  You see, I was standing in the isle before he came up to the group.  He asked if he could get by us and I replied "we can't do very much without the M.C., now can we."  I received a dirty look and a sure trip to hell.

I thought the rook wore a hat like that.  Or was is the knight.

Jen with her standard "Dad, don't even think about taking a picture of me.  Dad, Don't do it."

Jake had to get into the fray.

Kristin and her friend, Pria, on their way to a school dance.  This is the time that starts breaking a dad's heart.

This was the morning after the confirmation party.  Actually, the afternoon.  It is plain to see that nobody was in the mood for "Dad and his Damn Camera."
